As an operatic soprano, Engelmann harnesses the power of her dynamic and unique voice to create an empowering connection with audiences. The Boston Musical Intelligencer described her as a fairy godmother who “fluttered about the stage… Her giggles and charm won praise of the audience”.

Abbey Diana Engelmann is originally from Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. Her love for classical music began in high school, where she was inspired and encouraged by mentors who recognized her natural gift for music.

Abbey graduated summa cum laude from Millikin University in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and a certificate in Dance. In September of that year, she moved to Boston, Massachusetts, to pursue her graduate studies at the Longy School of Music, where she earned her Master of Music in Vocal Studies in May 2025.
